About Vittorio's
Ristorante Vittorio is a well established family owned restaurant, situated at the top end of Stow Hill in Newport, South Wales, overlooked by the magnificent Cathedral of St Woolos.
Opened in 1988, Vittorio's —run by the namesake himself— was born of a passion for his native Italy and everything Italian. Vittorio's love for good food, fine wine (and football!) manifested itself into a restaurant which combines the very best of Mediterranean influenced cuisine, attentive service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
You will find the menu at Vittorio's both varied and extensive, with a choice of mouth watering Italian dishes to whet your appetite. Prices begin at £4 for a starter and £10 for a main course, although specific menu requirements to suit the occasion, budget and diet can be designed especially for you.
The wine cellar is fully stocked with a selection of fine wines to accompany your meal, from recommended house wines to the more famous Italian Barolo and Amarone classics.
Since it was first established more than 20 years ago, the restaurant has undergone a number of refurbishments with the newly expanded bar area being the most recent enhancement. There is a seperate function suite which is equipped with a projector and screen, making it the ideal venue for corporate clients and business matters. More intimate parties are also catered for with capacity for smaller parties of up to 35 people.
